Are there plans to implement the Realtime Streaming API?

Hi, I was just wondering if Auckland Transport has any plans to implement the Realtime Streaming API? At the moment there is one endpoint, https://api.at.govt.nz/v2/realtime-streaming/subscription-check I would like to have a reliable source of realtime vehicle positions and a WebSocket endpoint would be perfect for this - given that developers can make 30,000 requests per week, it is not possible to poll the API as I would be limited to one update every 20 seconds (the vehicles seem to report their positions every 10 seconds). Thanks, Matt

Hi, Currently there is no WebSocket endpoint available for public usage. For Realtime vehicle positions you can use Realtime Transit Feed (GTFS) and Realtime Compat API. Regarding the number of requests - Developer subscription allows 600 calls/minute up to a maximum of 35,000 calls/week. Unfortunately we are unable to increase this limit on a per user basis. Thanks.
